How do I take these apart to try and fix this? I tried Googling, nothing came up.

I have an Essence STX and my Q701's sound fine on them. But I was wondering if getting an O2 Combo would improve my audio. I also heard the DAC on my soundcard is good so, should I get just an O2 amp? Is the amp on my soundcard good enough and i'm using my headphones to their full capacity?

How badly? How are they going to perform without one? Does it sound terrible without one? Reason i'm asking these questions is, i havn't decided 100% on what i'm going to do to upgrade my siberia v2 headset. Was going to go for AD500X or AD700X. Thinking of saving $ and getting the Q701's...

So the best setup would be just plug straight into the soundcard.. no amp? A lot of people say AMPS blow sound cards away, some say otherwise. It's really hard to take advice from a thread like some i've been reading when all the posts are AMP IS BETTER SOUNDCARD IS BETTER AMP IS BETTER...
