So has anyone bought the E7+E9 combo recently and used it on their Windows 7 just fine?   My laptop has this left right inbalance issue which is what finally push me into searching for a DAC/AMP.  My mouse is hovering over the ordering button... would loved to be reassured.  If this E7+E9...

Thanks to all who replied. A colleague saw me in pain over my broken headphones and offered to take a look. He then soldiered the broken cables back together and now it's working perfectly again. I'm OH SO LUCKY!! Again - thanks a lot for providing so much suggestions and help to a complete...

Oistrakh - point taken but I love them... had them for years and kind of attached to them (literally on most days!) it's just not making any sound. it's not like it's fell apart or anything.

to nickchen and all - is there any online resources about how to fix headphones?

Hello, I have got this Sony headphone MDR CD1000 for just over 10 years and this morning the right pad stopped working while the left pad still produces a lovely sound. Is there any chance I can get them fixed? Many thanks for your help in advance. Ada
