Master Clock Talk
What I don't like about the Aune is the size. While the OCK-2 is smaller and thinner and I could also put it on top of the TEAC (which would guarantee me a very short cable), the Aune has more generous dimensions and I would have to put it in a dedicated compartment of the rack and connect it...- granosalis

They are on the same price range. Aune plus is dedicated 12V DC In while OCK-2 has only internal power supply (indeed a very good one). Do you have any internal picture of the Aune? I have found only some details, but not a complete picture.- granosalis

I'm considering buying a 10M clock for my TEAC VRDS 701. Has anyone ever made a comparison between Aune SC1 Vs LHY Audio OCK-2 ?- granosalis

The manual speaks about USB. I did it in a strange way. Firmware in a pendrive on the back of the Lumin U2 mini connected in USB to the Waveligjht, then play :-) Worked for me, but I suggest to follow the instructions on the manual, any other way you do it's at your own risk.- granosalis

the new release corrects some bugs and slightly improves clock management. This is now reported in the release notes. I hope it's not just an impression but I have experienced slightly deeper and bigger soundstage- granosalis

I have also sent an email to rockna which confirm that 1.48 and 2.03 are equivalnent. Much like 1.38 and 2.10 are equivalent for FPGA.- granosalis

Yes, you are right. This is because there are two hardare revision of the wavelight and firmare is linked to hardware version. So current 2.xx go for 2.10 and 1.xx go for 1.38- granosalis

As you have 1.x you should go for 1.38 So why I see a picture here with 02.03 control firmware version?- granosalis

Hugo TT 2 by Chord Electronics - The Official Thread
Amplifier is fully balanced (MC462) while pre-amplifier C2700 it is not, but on my experience the C2700 likes more balanced signal in input. Moreover I have a better XLR cable: Audioquest Earth (1m long). Not sure if mine is the right setup for TT2. I have the feeling that the concept of...- granosalis

Hugo TT 2 by Chord Electronics - The Official Thread
So if I well understood the difference is only how the TT2 handle the signal internally (in this case in SE) but the preamplifier will see a full balanced signal in input, with all the benefits that this kind of connection can bring. I wonder if anyone has noticed any difference between the XLR...- granosalis

Hugo TT 2 by Chord Electronics - The Official Thread
I have another question regarding the TT2. Is the XLR output a real balanced output? My main usage will be with TT2 connected to a Mcintosh pre + power amp through XLR cable. I have read somewere, (don't remember where) that Robb isn't a huge appriser of balanced output, but I can be wrong...- granosalis
