Annoucing the New Brainwavz HM2 Headphones - Foldable Joy & Budget Love

I have to agree, got the bundle and the HM2 are very veiled and boomy when compared to my takstar pro80 with HM5 velour pads. the detla are ok (with some eq).

it could be just the kingston soundcard, or placebo effect because they bought the new version. most of them are also upgrading from bad headsets like Turtle Beach. the original HyperX Cloud also had great reviews and we know they are just pro-80 straight cable with a mic.

what are you talking about? V shaped pro-80? HyperX Cloud are just pro-80 with a microphone and without the coiled cable (takstar dropped that to a long time ago). they didn't change the sound when they released V2 (over a year ago).

I wish I had your luck :( I was able to bend it a little and it is not as bad as in the photo. lachlanlikesathing (youtuber) also had an alignment problem with his review pair. I don't know about the HI2050 but they could have the same problem, similar head band. It doesn't bother me as long...

^^^^ ver.1 with coiled cable, ver.2 with straight cable. you can go back to page 142, 1st post on the page is you asking the same question     if you tell me what is the difference between the old and the new headband I could ask someone who own the HyperX, sadly I can't get them from him to...

I have the updated version and the right cup is higher then the left (not as bad as other pairs but still uneven). I don't think the HyperX have this problem, better quality control. the HyperX should be V2, TAKSTAR switched to straight cable after QPAD released the headset version (the HyperX...

I don't know if the TAKSTAR pads are "memory foam" but they are good (considering the low price). the HM5 pads are better and you should buy them if you can. you get an adapter with the HyperX, from 2X3.5mm to combo jack but i am not sure you can use it with regular 3.5mm female (i think it...

I don't know, my sound card driver crashed and the EQ didn't work. only removing both the driver and the razer surround software solved the problem. RAZER EQ is all bass, mids are dead and highs are underpowered. give BF4 more time and played CS:GO, when BF4 works sound cues are very usable but...

RAZER EQ is just so bad...and removing it is also way to hard (had to also fix REALTEK drivers because RAZER software broke them). I don't think VS is a must but it is nice. so BLOPS 2 stutters like crazy...hard to test sound cues when the game is running like ****. I will try again later. BF4...

close back headphones can be really good for gaming, the CAL! are highly recommended close back headphone for gaming. also imaging is more important then soundstage. Sadly finding good FPS games is not as easy as it used to be...I can try with BF4 and maybe black ops 2 (if i can find players)...

ISK are an OEM as far as we know and the HP-2011 use a 50mm driver (TAKSTAR's is 53mm). maybe they use the same body but the driver is probably not the same (some ISK models also look like SUPERLUX headphones).   and on another matter, CyberX is a software security startup from Israel, HyperX...

lol, my brother tried them and also found the bass to be overwhelming. he also was very happy to hear the bass didn't effect the rest of the frequency range that bad so we only reduced the bass with EQ. coming to the PRO 80 from bass light headphones is not easy.

i don't have a problem with the pro 80 pads, i did have a problem with the 2050. i will probably buy the HM5 pads in the future, can also help with the bass. this on the other hand is just bad luck, the curve on the right ear is not the same as on the left. don't effect comfort or fit, just...

EQ is not so case specific, if you find headphone to bass heavy or a little bit bright you can easily fix it with EQ. sadly finding the perfect headphone for you is not an easy task and if you can get closer with modest EQ you should do it. with the HI2050 i had to boost the 4K range and take...

i don't know if it will solve it but the HM5 pads are dipper and softer so it should help. the push you fill could also be the coiled cable, this is one of the reasons people don't like coiled cables. if you have a chair with hand rests try sticking the cable between the chair and the rest (so...
