Just received a pair of 600 ohm DT-880s today from another Head-Fi member. I'm running them with a Little Dot Mk III and am very impressed indeed so far.

  There is a guy in Nelson who sells them on TradeMe... only purchased from him once but the tubes were fine.  Mostly I get them via eBay from overseas.

  A while back I made an enquiry to Jason Stoddard at Schiit about buying a Magni directly from them as there was, at the time, no NZ distributor (and Addicted to Audio charges to ship to NZ but not to Aus, which I find funny when we are closer to Melbourne than someone in Perth is).  It worked...

  I tend to play a run and gun game and I've found that Ghosts is making me play smarter, because of the camping and sniping spots.  I do find the maps to be a bit on the large size, particularly for certain game modes; kill confirmed is horrible on the castle map, for example.  That issue...

I don't think I will be buying the box... just a bit too expensive with shipping and all.  I'll just keep putting them back in the pizza box (I don't like letting them sit out because the sun coming through the window can discolor the wood and pads).

Re. thread title   I'm from Massachusetts.  Next question thanks.     

  We only have medical students on our campus, not the garden-variety type of student. :)  I don't see much evidence of headphones at all, though they certainly do enjoy texting during lectures. 

  A pair of Voskhod tubes will do more to clear up the mush than the opamp change (at least that's what I heard when I did it).  Alternatively, a non-spec tube like the 6DT6A (RCA or GE) is also very nice in terms of added clarity.
