    SONY NW-ZX2

The UERM sounds great with the ZX2, but if you are looking for low frequency impact look elsewhere.

Pay attention to the low end with the DSEE HX on. That is why I stopped using it rather quickly.

My biggest frustration at this point is finding a convenient way to attach album art to all tracks that I have segregated into album folders. I can do it one track at a time, but this seems rather cumbersome.

Regarding separation, I perceive the output to be very coherent.

Well, I'm sure part of the reason is that after losing my ipod, I was using my Galaxy S3 as my portable music device. That aside, the soundstage is huge with incredible nuance and amazing low end output.

I bought it mainly for storage capacity reasons, but the audio output quality was a most pleasant surprise

Ultimate Ears' New Way Of Making Custom In-Ear Monitors - Head-Fi TV

I have had the UE10 pro for at least a decade and the JH16 pro for a couple of years. I took delivery of 3D printed UERMs last week. The fit is perfect and obviously superior to my previous purchases. I think this technology will become the industry standard rather soon.

I lost my ipod classic, so I purchased one of these. What a fantastic piece of equipment. It has been years since I've enjoyed listening to music this much.

Ultimate Ears In-Ear Reference Monitors Review

Bottom line, the UE10 pro was just a fantastic product. I have EQ'd the UERM to get a bit more on the low end and it is a nice sounding monitor. The UE10 pro sounds great from any source I've thrown at it, no EQ required.

Ultimate Ears In-Ear Reference Monitors Review

Has anyone else gone from the UE10pro to the UERM? That is where I am coming from and I am a bit disappointed with the low end on the UERM. I think the bass is tight to the point of being nearly imperceptible at times.

Ultimate Ears UE-x Pro Custom; Appreciation, Review & Discussion thread

Yes, I have read similar reports. Since I was such a fan of the supposedly neutral UE10 pro, I expected to be a fan of the UERM. The UE10 just provides a much fuller and open sounding experience.

I guess my point is that the UE 10 pro is as close to audio nirvana as I've heard.

Ultimate Ears UE-x Pro Custom; Appreciation, Review & Discussion thread

I've had UE 10 pro's for over a decade now. About 2 years ago I decided to give the JH16's a try. I was woefully disappointed, feeling like I was missing out on a good portion of the recorded material. Recently, I gave the UERM a try. Although for my taste they are better than the JH16's, they...
