It is just a tactile difference. I use cheap cable with my Fan 2. I didn't like the stock cable because it's big and heavy. I use one from moondrop Starfield. Don't go the cable route - it is a waste of money. For sound difference ... use EQ, or change headphones.

Hm, what does “warm” mean generaly? Lifted bass? Mele has very similar FR to Starfield … just lifted bass? Have been thinking about timeless ... but again FR shows lifted treble. But I get it ... it is all relative and all impressions are subjective. Unfortunately I can't try before but :)

Well, yes ... Starfield became tolerable after a week, but still seems heavy after a while. I much prefer Shure 215 for that matter. I guess it's 2 grams vs 9 grams (not sure about that). Can you use Tri i3 with mobile or tablet?
