    Denon AH-C400 / Denon AH-C301

Yeah, that's the thing with Foam tips. Although squeezing them before putting them in the ears + good strain relief will extend the life somewhat. I have so many IEMs these days, I'll never run out. The phones themselves are bulletproof though.

Sony XBA2iP or Denon ah c400

Well to answer my own question, I forked out for the XBA 40s AND the denon ah-d400s and the ah-c300s and to make a long story boring, the ah 400s are in a different class to the others.

    Denon AH-C400 / Denon AH-C301

The ah-c400 are at the price the best sub 200 euro IEMs money can buy. The sound with a good seal is sublime. I've got quite a collection of IEMs at this stage and I always reach for the ah-c400s. I prefer them to my quad BA phones. The only issue is, they take hundreds of hours to break in...

    Denon ah-d600 review.

Phillips Fidelio X1s, great open can with all the base of a closed can. I bought them a while back and I must say all the hype is worth it. They are also cheaper than the hd650 and 600. I was leaning towards a hd600 but very happy I settled for the fidelios. I also changed the cable, as...

New DENON "Music Maniac" & "Urban Raver" Lines: D7100, D600, D400 & C300 Impressions Thread

I have a weird feeling when wearing the D600s that the sound is coming from behind me. Even the barbarshop demo on youtube was always coming from behind me. I swapped the cables around and wear them back to front. Still comfortable, but the sound has been put in front of me now. Must be the...

Fostex T50RP Incremental Mods and Measurements

Does anyone know how these would work with an Asus Xonar Essence SDX, I'd love to get a pair for modding, but I can't really afford any external amp at the moment.

Fostex T50RP with Asustek Xonar Essence STX

Thanks a lot!  Lots of useful information in that thread. I was looking to get these for modding (like everyone else ^ ^). I'll have a good read of that thread, brilliant!

Fostex T50RP with Asustek Xonar Essence STX

Hi  I've got the sound card in the title, is it worth my while getting the t50rp? I'd love to try them but I hear they might be hard to drive. Thanks!!

    Denon AH-C300 Urban Raver Impressions

Pretty much this. The 300's are for base-heads. But the 400s are clear and balanced. The base does settle after a few hundred hours in the 400s and packs a bit more punch after that. I love them both. The sony xba 40s are a nice middle ground between the two if you have the right gear, they...

    Denon AH-C300 Urban Raver Impressions

I have the xba 400s and they do move a lot of air, a hell of a lot more than the xba 300s, they compare well against the c300s but the treble is more pronounced on the c300s, so its a close call. I do really like the xba 400s, they are smaller, but the Denon c300s compare well with them. Both...

My Very Simple Denon D600 Mod

There's a picture of them dissassembled on this site somewhere, looks to me, like you need to remove the Denon badge from both cups.

New DENON "Music Maniac" & "Urban Raver" Lines: D7100, D600, D400 & C300 Impressions Thread

Picked up the D600s, I now have the D600, the C400 and the C300s ^ ^  Just got my new Fiio E12 in the mail, paired with my Samsung s3 with flat eq settings.  The base, well there's no shortage of it, very nice sub-bass rumble, and that's without going near the base boost switch on the Fiio...

I actually think the bass adds a weight to the piano. I love them for piano.

    Asian music (Chinese, Japanese, Korean)

None of us have said anything about some of the noise you've been contributing lately, I could seriously make better music holding a didgeridoo to my anus. My point is...live and let live, just because it's obscure doesn't make it good.   The reason its called pop is because its popular.

    Asian music (Chinese, Japanese, Korean)

Yeah, all that bum related stuff gets a bit stupid. Using my super computer and many man-hours of close inspection, I've traced this history of this sensation back to its source, this video by sistar. Pay close attention to: 1:04, it appears all four have cut the cheese and are diffusing the...

Denon AH-C300 and Denon AH-C301 any difference?

Denon AH-C300 and Denon AH-C301 any difference?

I usually use my Samsung S3 for my daily commute paired with my Denon ah -c400 and the sound wasn't bed. I have a cowon too, but can't use it with iphone compatible jacks such as the new range of denons (the D600 comes with a normal cable so that's great). I just bought a sansa clip zip because...

I also have the FXT90s, to say I'm underwhelmed is putting it mildly.

I actually have the C300, C400 and the D600, I like them all, there's definitely a Denon sound to these.
