Recommendation for balanced IEMs (~$150)
Quote: Oh damn, that really sucks. When I was looking, the only post I saw comparing the two was this one. Other than that, I don't know how long you were planning to wait before buying, but maybe in a few weeks or so, I'll try to compare the two here (though it'll be extremely subjective...- someone456

Alright, I'm going to pick up the GR07s and the BA200s, and after listening to them for a while, I'll come back and post my opinions to close up the thread. Thanks for all your help everyone.- someone456

Great point. Unless anyone has a better idea, I think that's what I'll go with. After all, that's what I did with my full sized cans and that works out great.- someone456

Hmm. But it is smooth and detailed? That may be nice enough. Now let's say I was considering going crazy and buying both the gr07 and the ba200. Would it be better to have them complement each other or look for something in a higher price bracket?- someone456

Oh man, my wallet may not like you very much soon. Several reviews I read said that the treble on the ba200 didn't "sparkle"; is that really the case?- someone456

Since everyone is recommending different things, I think I'm currently still considering: TDK BA-200 HiFiMAN RE-400 VSonic GR07 BE Yamaha EPH-100SL Roughly in that order.- someone456

Yeah I just noticed that, and it is a very good point. Based on that, I think I might purchase the BA200s tomorrow evening, based on the reviews I read today and the relative cost, unless someone tells me otherwise.- someone456

Quote: That good, huh? How is the soundstage (size+dimension) and bass compared to the GR07s? I'm not really a basshead, but I like to know it's there.- someone456

Okay thanks. For now, I'm leaning towards the GR07 Bass Edition, just because there doesn't seem to be as much information about AudioFly on this site, whereas I can find more about the GR07s, though I think I'll wait for any more opinions before I pull the trigger.- someone456

Hello, I was looking at getting some decent quality IEMs with a large soundstage, good instrument separation, high clarity and lots of detail (or as close as I can get to this, while remaining inside of the price range). In terms of music, I like listening to a lot of different...- someone456

Here are my impressions in case anyone is curious: Grados: These headphones sound amazing! I normally listen to music while I work on stuff, but while using these, I literally stopped working and just listened to my music because of how different it sounded and how much detail I missed in...- someone456

Sweet, thanks for the suggestions, how do those compare comfort-wise? I'd probably keep the headphones on for several hours of listening. Also, would it be worth it to get both the HA-S500 and the Citiscape Uptown's since it'd still be within what I was looking to spend? (While the cost is...- someone456

Hi, For a very long time I was content with whatever speakers/headphones/ear-buds were available for listening to music. However, recently an acquaintance of mine let me listen to a song I like using their headphones (Klipsch Image One). When I listened to that song again at home on my...- someone456
