Guitar-fi anyone?
I would personally suggest looking around for used MIM Strats. Unless the prices have increased recently (they're really good at doing that), I saw some for around $300 not too long ago and in very good condition. They're typically better quality than the Squier's in that same price range too...- PYROphonez

Rate the video games you're currently playing
Super Meat Boy has been my most recent obsession. I've spent upwards of 20 hours playing that game. It's incredibly fun while still being one of the most challenging games I've played in a very long time. Totally unforgiving. 10/10- PYROphonez

Guitar-fi anyone?
This thread certainly deserves a bump. Figured some of you fellow guitar fans might be interested in seeing this. I've just finished building a "new" Strat for myself. It's really tough to get the true color of it in pictures, but here goes anyways. Check it out! Click on the smaller...- PYROphonez

NGD-7 string ibanez with swirly paintjob!
Nice pictures. Play it well! How do you like the tremol-no? I'm thinking of putting one on my strat, but can't really justify the price.- PYROphonez

Who here is NOT buying MW2?
I was looking forward to playing it and considered pre-ordering, but decided against it after hearing about the lack of dedicated servers. Really unfortunate, but I can't support them after doing something like that.- PYROphonez

Guitar-fi anyone?
Here's the one picture I was sent of the neck damage. The rest were of the guitar in general. Otherwise, it looks fairly nice, though he has no clue as to what is original in it or not. He says he thinks the pick guard was replaced and doesn't know about the pickups, just that they "sound nice."- PYROphonez

Guitar-fi anyone?
Figured I should post here instead of starting a new thread. Do any of you have experience with playing Strats with repaired necks? I've found an 80's American Strat for $400 that has been repainted and the neck repaired. Makes me worry as to what might be beneath it all, but I would definitely...- PYROphonez

Help recommend a laptop/messenger bag for me
I got a Timbuk2 Commute Medium over the summer from REI Outlet. Only time will tell (I've only been using it for about 6 weeks now), but the bag feels extremely durable, and reviews I've read agree that the Timbuk2 line is extremely durable. So far it's met my needs for carrying folders, a...- PYROphonez

I installed Windows 7 about an hour ago. So far everything is running smoothly. I installed the Lenovo Power Manager and their Switchable Graphics driver (from their Windows 7 Beta drivers and utilities page) and it's functioning perfectly. So far so good.- PYROphonez

Backpack-Fi
Up until now I've been using LL Bean bags due to their great replacement policy. I have two of those (only had to replace one once after many many years of use), and a couple weeks ago I purchased a Timbuk2 Commute on REI Outlet for $50. The medium size bag just barely fits my T500...- PYROphonez

Guitar-fi anyone?
So my plans of buying an Epiphone Valve Junior vanished. I was convinced to get something bigger to function in practices and at small gigs, and just purchased a Fender Blues Junior in the Brown/Oxblood color today (not the "NOS" version with the Jensen speaker). The price was very fair ($424.99...- PYROphonez

Nokia-Fi!
Just got an E71x (AT&T branded E71) for $99.99 after $50 rebate. I don't have a data plan, but I can use Wi-Fi whenever I have it. Such a great change from Windows Mobile. I get very good battery life. The keyboard's great too. AT&T did lock it down a bit (ringtone size limit being one of...- PYROphonez
