How does the Helios compare to Monarch MK2?

Brise Audio Asuha Ref.2 is not too flexible but no issues with microphonics using the chin slider.

For electronic music, Monarchs are better than most would expect. I listen to a lot of ambient/dark ambient and Monarchs have a nice sub bass, which is tight and hits hard, but also more energetic mids which shine in all genres. So Monarchs when I want to engage and connect with the music more...

They are very good. Compared to IER-Z1R, I like them just as much. Of course, different flavours depending on mood, but I spend my time evenly between them. Both are amazing at what they do.

So you are suggesting you couldn't hear how great the Monarch's were before? That is amusing to me, however I am looking for new tips and may give these a try for my Monarch MKii. Cheers!

Seeing as the DX300 main unit comes in 2 colours, I hope there will be no difficulties in getting future amp modules in either colour as well.

Sad state of affairs when Paul has to come here to verify that there is no spyware on the DX300. Having said that, what effect would spyware have on the sound? Maybe a more revealing signature. Might be worth looking into for future DAPs.

Leaning towards the blue with gold from pictures so far, but also feel they could've come up with something a little better for the dial as others have said. I've twice tried unsuccessfully updating SPKM to 1.41. The installation seems to be going well until the end, where instead of booting normally it takes me to the bootloader screen. Not doing anything different from the last few times I've updated without issue. Any idea what's going on?

I've worked out that this static occurs at 96kHz files only when the battery is running low (flashing red). Static is gone when the BL has been charged up, but still a strange issue nonetheless.

Thanks, I've got the purple light going now and sounds great. However, music that's going into DAC at 96kHz has a huge amount of static, whilst 88.2 has no issues at all. Tried playing with the settings but can't figure out what's happening. Cheers

Picked up a BL on the weekend and using it with Tidal from Note 10+ using the iFi USB C cable purchased separately. When playing MQA the LED turns yellow which suggests higher bit rate than the standard HiFi which shows green, but I was thought I should be seeing a purple light. Am I missing...

Anyone using the AK T5P 2nd gen with SP1000/M? If so, how do you find the pairing compared to other full size?
