Am using cables with 3 Pole 3.5mm male connectors on all of my headphones and devices. Am looking for some replacement cables and have noted that many come with 4 Pole 3.5mm connectors. Apparently the 4th pole is for microphones, which I don't use. Questions are: Will the 4 pole connectors fit...

Anybody know metric size and pitch of the Capita 4" and 8" legs?? Want to use Metric T-nuts (if I can find them) instead of the mounting plates to attach them to the upright of a DIY wood headphone stand. Have googled ad nauseam to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
