Desperately need help - new Shure SRH440
Quote: haha that's cool thank you :) They are definitely under warranty and I sent an email to Shure about it...still waiting for a reply. I live in Australia and from their site and the little pamphlet that came with the headphones...the only service centre in the "Asia" region is...- BasketCase

Desperately need help - new Shure SRH440
I bought a pair of Shure 440s the other day. I've just returned from overseas - where I bought them from an authorised re-seller. In case you aren't bothered to read the whole thing (I'm gonna explain what I think might be the problem?) - basically my new headphones sounded ok. I used them...- BasketCase

What to get for a first pair of decent headphones?
Quote: Thanks :) I've been a few times before so I know my way around a little. I'll probably start at Funan, then head to Jaben. Hadn't heard of the other one so I'll probably head there too :) So keen to try out headphones (though I think I might have decided on a pair of Sennheisers...)- BasketCase

Sennheiser PX 360
Hey to those of you who have owned these...do you think they would be a good buy for someone who's never owned proper headphones? I want something good quality that I can fold up...and these seem to pretty much fit the bill. I listen to mostly "alternative" rock, a bit of classical and a range...- BasketCase

What to get for a first pair of decent headphones?
Not going to Japan I'm afraid. That sounds like fun though XD I'm going to Singapore and I know some good electronics/audio places there...some of the smaller ones do good prices on other tech so hopefully the same goes for headphones. And everything is SO much more available there than Australia.- BasketCase

What to get for a first pair of decent headphones?
Quote: Thanks i'll take a look :) Most electronics are a lot more expensive here. The Australian Audio Technica site has the m50s for $219 in fact. I doubt i'll end up getting them for much less than $180. Even if I get them overseas there's always shipping and warranty issues...- BasketCase

What to get for a first pair of decent headphones?
Quote: Oh...they're nice. Thanks! Do you have any experience with them? I just found them online for AUD$180....they seem to tick all my boxes (except the inline remote thing...but I can probably live without it). There aren't many places around I can actually give them a try though...- BasketCase

What to get for a first pair of decent headphones?
Quote: I don't need an inline remote but it's preferable. Just looked up the Shure ones...they look awesome! Though a little hard to find in Australia (and amazon never seems to ship any headphones outside of the US!). I could try them when I go overseas perhaps.... Thanks :) I...- BasketCase

What to get for a first pair of decent headphones?
Hi there. I've been using apple earphones for years and I'm sick of the quality. I've been saving up and want to invest in a pair of decent headphones, but I have no idea what to look for really. What I do know I'm looking for: - Closed headphones. I tend to listen to music a lot when...- BasketCase
