Nothing from modi, i changed every wire and i tried an other headphone and computer. Anyways, schiit has been very kind with me for solving the problem, i have no problem right now, but this problem is weird.- freddy1201

Here something you should all know If you are using audirvana with Yggy, don't use ''volume fixed by the dac'', it results in bad distortion because the volume in the software is too loud for some reason. Put it at -14-16db and everything is solved and you have a normal volume output with...- freddy1201

Actually, electronic sound really good with yggy, the burrito filter helps a lot for the ''soundstage of effects'' like in shpongle or infected mushroom and there is less harshness in some tracks.- freddy1201

I know the a49 very well, it's a very good amp. Laid back with a nice tone, not bright but very controlled with the bass. Would recommend with bright speakers to complement. Don't know the others.- freddy1201

Yggdrasil: A (P)review - Two days of paradise
I have modi, which is good for under 200$, and Yggy is soooooo much better, it's not even close. I work in retail in audio and i've never heard a source that make such a difference ( i have not heard the 5 figure dac of marv), but you really need to let it on 24/7. Anyway, i'm at 4 days or...- freddy1201

New Schiit! Ragnarok and Yggdrasil
4 days of warm-up/burn-in. still not a week It's the emotion, the presence that gets you at this point, the sound is literally beautiful, like a real instrument. The best thing for me is that i'm not listening to sound anymore, i'm listening to the music. I am not distracted anymore by flaws...- freddy1201

I'm sad to hear that... What was the problem? And for the temperature, i realize that the warmth probably comes from lyr on top, because when i turn off lyr, Yggy is almost cold.- freddy1201
