All that is irrelevant since it happens with all sounds. System, Youtube video, any music player, games, VOIP, etc.

Problem solved. It was a Canon scanner utility for my wireless printer that was set to run on startup. Removed it from startup and haven't had any sound issues in 60+ hours.

Nevermind. I refreshed a browser page with a game open and it cut out. Lat checker also has red bars now. This is odd.

24 hours with no audio problems. Problem solved.

I may have fixed it. I was thinking back to what I did recently that may have caused this and one of the things I did was update my AMD drivers to 14.12. I just downgraded back to my previous version, 14.4, and the latency monitoring programs are giving good results.

Sorry I've been meaning to include screenshots for a while but things came up. Here are some of the tabs you mentioned. These are from a few seconds after my sound cut out.     Ignore the puush process. That only came up during the screenshot.

Audio still cuts out. I tried checking the Processes tab but it seems normal to me.

I did two things: Update Intel® USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller and disabled CPU throttling.   New results

Disabled and here are the new results.     It showed Intel® USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller for a bit before Wdf01000.sys.

How do I disable that driver?

System is up to date. I'm not sure what to really look for in those tabs.

Ok I started to get some relevant info. Screenshot  attached.     I want to make note that my BIOS is already up to date.

I downloaded LatencyMon but I'm not sure how to check which process is interrupting. It has a list of processes but nothing stands out.

Since about a week ago, my computer audio has been cutting in and out. It seems to happen the most when I'm watching a video or playing a game (when computer is under load?). Anyone know what might be the problem? I've had the same usb sound card for years and it's never done anything like this.

Since a few days ago, my sound has been cutting out and it seems to happen most when I open a new browser window or when I alt tab out of a game in borderless window mode.  Could it be signs of my USB sound card dying? Or motherboard possibly?

I received these as a replacement for my S4II's since Klipsch no longer produces these (huge shoutout for their warranty) and all I can say is that I'm absolutely blown away. I'm just your average user so I can't really go to the technical side of things, but these are a huge improvement over...

Just thought I'd post a picture instead of trying to explain it. Because of how far the satellites are from the sub, I won't be able to move it anywhere else. Think I may just have to turn my desk around so the back is open.

Wouldn't I be able to hear it being off to the side if I move it out?

It's under my desk and on the floor about 5 inches from the wall but not directly in the corner. Guess this is a problem then because if I move it any further out, it'll be in the way.

Was referring to the percentage in Windows. The bass knob is about 1/5th the way.

Well my desk is in the corner of the room. There's no other place I can put it. The second time when I tried the front panel audio, it was at 100%.
