Htc One
Quote: I use my One with Spotify as well(320kbps) and it sounds great. I could squeeze out better sound by storing uncompressed files locally, but since I'm on Sprint, I'm limited to 32gb, so it's impractical for the amount of music I listen to. I did manage to get 1800+ songs stored...- kendelahoussaye

Sennheiser MOMENTUM Review
Quote: Was there a noticeable difference in quality when using an external dac vs. what was built into any of those devices(mac book and phones). It's seems pretty unanimous that amplification doesn't make a noticeable difference, but is it worth it to use an external dac with these?- kendelahoussaye

Sennheiser MOMENTUM Review
Quote: That's good to know, I'm really looking for something portable that will enhance the sound of these. I guess the dac is what was I was hoping would help more than anything, as I'm sure the one in my laptop is pretty lousy, even for a higher end Sony. I haven't had a chance to load my...- kendelahoussaye

Anyone have any experience using these with a FiiO E07k? Thinking about picking up one for the laptop and possible for use with my HTC One.- kendelahoussaye

For those of you that have been using the One with portable DACs, does it drain the battery much to use the phone as a USB Host? Obviously, a lot of these DACs are rechargeable and run off of their own power, but I was just wondering if going into host mode had any noticeable effect on battery life.- kendelahoussaye

Android phones and USB DACs
Quote: Quote: So, when you go to buy the Android LOD cables, the option for the first end only allows USB micro-B, but this would only appear to be micro-B but act as micro-A correct? Then the second end I'd choose would be mini-B to connect to a FiiO E07K.- kendelahoussaye

Quote: Thanks for that, I'm going to order from Forza, they had exactly what I was looking for. I'm still unclear on which ends I need, as they offer several options for the second end. I went ahead and contacted their customer service with both devices I'm using, to get their...- kendelahoussaye

Have any of the Fiio Amp/DAC combos been found to work with the One? I just received mine yesterday and was planning on pairing it with a set of AKG 550's for travel use. I was going to get an E7, E17 or E07k for use with my laptop anyway, so though I might not necessarily need an amp for the...- kendelahoussaye
