However, I'm not exactly sure how I'd set this up...any help? My first...- soadspecialk

Hey everybody! So I've been playing around with my new Mad Dogs and an iBasso D6 w/ Topkit installed. Everything sounds awesome when I go Laptop -> D6 -> Mad Dogs or Laptop -> D6 --> external speakers. Super happy, the D6 drives the headphones well and I'm really enjoying what I'm...- soadspecialk

iBasso D6 "Fer-de-Lance" USB DAC/Amp
Quote: Well the auctions on eBay didn't even go up to $169, so it'd be under that but depends on the condition too. Let me know if you know someone who's willing to sell, we can negotiate- soadspecialk

I've read good things about the Leckerton too on here, but forgot about it. Price point is similar so it'll come to one of the two. Can Anybody tell me the differences between the op-amps they offer?- soadspecialk

Whoops didn't mean to throw you under the bus there Dan! Also op-amp rolling means I could use the iBasso as a DAC w/ my laptop and roll the signal to my marantz pm5003 when I'm at home, right?- soadspecialk

Hey guys I'm about to order a set of Mad Dogs and need help selecting a portable amp. From my posts here I was recommended JDS' O2 amp, which is more in my budget, but less portable (looks rather large). Dan recommended the iBasso D6, which is more portable and includes a DAC but less in...- soadspecialk

Help Selecting Headphones and DAC/Amp!
how do you guys think the ibasso d6 would do? I emailed Dan and that's the amp he recommended. It's less in the budget, but seems more portable than the O2 and it includes a DAC. I've read good things about the O2, but my only concern is its portability...it looks a little big. Thoughts?- soadspecialk

Does the odac make a big difference or would I be ok with just the o2? Looks like an o2 is the better option compared to a fiio from what I'm reading.- soadspecialk
