I second that. I own both the A55 and A306. Sound quality is subjective and will be based on your ears, but the pure fact that the A306 is an Android based device and has USB C compared to the WMport is an upgrade in my eyes.

Agreed, you should be able to use Qobuz, Tidal and listen to your offline music library using UUAP.

I've used my Questyle M15 and Lotoo S1 as external DACs on my A306, which sound great, especially with UAPP. I plan on testing the original Mojo and ifi xdsd over the next few days. I'm just playing around with the A306 until the firmware fix is released from Sony.

I ordered a generic soft clear TPU protective shell skin case for the A306 from Amazon but just received a notification that my package has been lost. Now I have a A306 with low bass and a missing case. Hopefully the week gets better.

I'm from Australia, and I have the Indian version. The date on my A306 is 01-2023. Hoping the collection of manufacturing dates helps establish a pattern in understanding why some have the low bass issue, and others don't. My unit definitely has the low bass issue.
