HELP does balanced to 3.5mm adapter retain balanced signal?
i have a portable setup.. an ibasso r10 source, i dont have a seperate dac unit, have the jds labs c421 (cant remember which version of op amp) and i also have the rsa protector. been mostly using the protector tho, my c421 been on a shelf. my music is mostly steely dan, van morrison, dave...- audioconsumer

i use the medium tips that came with them. they actually fit perfectly in my ear. they were a little uncomfortable at first but got used to them after a few days.- audioconsumer

i just listened to dark horse and partiton and both sounded really good. the low end drops pretty low and there is a "rumble" but its how its supposed to sound. just the sub bass doing what good sub bass does. if it sounds like a noisy rumble or distorted in any way u may need to try for a...- audioconsumer

yes they do work better with an amp as do most earphones/headphones.. as for the recommendation it all depends on how much ur looking to spend.- audioconsumer

i see.. i have an ibasso r10 with rsa protector amp, no dac. so if i have balanced amp only, will the signal still be balanced then or i need dac and balanced interconnects? does source need to have balanced output as well? im sorry just trying to reach that next level in sound but this whole...- audioconsumer

IEMs: upgrading from Senn CX300IIs

Looking for the Best IEM / Earbuds for Under $150
the eph100 is a really good all around earphone for the price. imho it is the best bang for the buck iem in that price range. i have heard that some people have had issues with the right side cutting out but ive had mine for over a year now and never had any trouble. hope this helps- audioconsumer

hello, i have owned the eph 100's for over a year and they get quite a bit of playtime and i have never had any issue with any right side sound loss or any other issue for that matter. build quality is actually quite good for a hundred dollar iem.- audioconsumer

Need An Upgrade For IEM's, Need Help.
i think the vsonic gr07's will give you what your looking for (enhanced bass edition). however the sennhiesr ie8/80 is also a good option and bigger soundstage but more expensive than the gr07's.- audioconsumer
