TrollDragon, yes, indeed, the production run of the Yuni uses true transducers rather than just existing earbuds. We used earbuds in our proof-of-concept prototype, but we couldn't sell them that way, of course...also, since the drivers have to be outside the ear rather than inside, earbuds...- YuniHeadphone
