Review by 'spinnin' on item 'Velodyne vPulse'
These are, without a doubt, the best In Ear Monitors that I own / have owned. Let me say that I purchased the pink color because it was far less expensive, less than $40. I purchased my pair from wal-mart because they had the lowest price at the time. I'm secure enough in my masculinity to wear...- spinnin

Your favourite "not the best" headphones?
I had the original version of the PX100. I recently sold them. I also have the original PX200 too. I Don't Feel that they were exceptionally neutral. I liked the sound. I felt the high notes rolled off a bit and the bass was very good, not shy at all. Mids didn't seem forward to me, not like...- spinnin

I want some good looking headphones.
Yes, colorway refers to the color combination of the HP's. It's all good, glad you found something that you like. In the future you may want to try something different. That is totally up to you of course.- spinnin

I want some good looking headphones.
I had the V-Moda Crossfade LP HP and I thought that they looked very good. I had the White w/ Chrome shields. I thought they were very comfortable. The ear pads were plush and the headband was not uncomfortable. Unfortunately, I found that they sound very muddled and even had a...- spinnin

Vmoda Lp2 or m80
I had the Crossfade LP and I wasn't impressed. I know you are looking at the LP2 but I have no experience with the LP2. I have the M-80 and I am very happy with them. Placement on the ear can be tricky, but once you get it, these are pretty sweet. Plenty of bass, forward mids, good highs...- spinnin

Quick Portable Recommendation ~$200
V-Moda M-80. On my ears, when placed properly, they seal fine. They are really versatile, sound great with everything, and are built solid. I take them when I'm on the go and I even listen to them at home. Overall, a great set IMHO.- spinnin

Difference in On/Over ear headphones?
Some over ears fit more like on ears. Depends on how big or small your ears are and how big or small the headphones are relative to that.- spinnin

This Schiit is Bananas! $99 Schiit Magni Amp and $99 Modi DAC
I purchased both the Magni and the Modi several months ago and I have a question about the Magni. Is it "normal" for the Magni to get very warm? The power supply for the Magni also gets very warm as well. I had them stacked with the Magni on top of the Modi, so Magni had proper...- spinnin

DAP suggestions? (sansa clip, Ipod classic, cowon x9)
Quote: Yes, IMHO, the sound quality is superior on the Sansa Clip + over the iPod. It is my understanding that the battery life improves when you Rockbox the Sansa Clip +, as does the audio quality from a more comprehensive EQ. I agree that you can add an external battery, just...- spinnin

DAP suggestions? (sansa clip, Ipod classic, cowon x9)
^ I agree that the value of the Sansa Clip + is pretty amazing. If you add 32 GB SD card it's still a low cost alternative to other DAPs. You have money left over for a solid portable amp like the Fiio E11 or the cMoy v2.03 as well for far less than an iPod.- spinnin

Best Receivers for Headphone Listening
For sound & comfort, I would suggest the Creative Aurvana Live! headphones or the V-Moda M-80. The M-80 sounds better, to me, and they are very solid in terms of build quality. The CAL! are very comfortable, and the sound quality is also very good, but the build quality on the V-Moda is better...- spinnin

RHA SA950i Review
These sound interesting. I don't like that these don't fold up or collapse for portability, especially since the build quality isn't better. I would think these are on par with the CAL! headphones in most respects? Great review!- spinnin

Looking for an over ear set of cans that have the same sound signature as the v-moda m-80
Reviews of the PSB are mixed. Great sound but uncomfortable and ugly (reminds me of Beats). Sounds like the build quality isn't so fabulous either. AKG have a very good reputation, but I'm not a fan of their looks. I'd like something that looks good, sounds good, has a solid build...- spinnin
