I’m curious, I currently own the Holocene but have been intrigued by the Bonneville. Since you have both, what makes you choose the Holocene over it? I love the Holocene but I don’t know what else I might be missing with the newer CFA IEMs.

Yeah - I’ve been thinking about it but I would probably trade in my Holocene to justify getting the Blackstar.

Are you not enjoying the sound with the tips you’ve tried and the dongle you have? I wouldn’t stress it unless you feel like something is deficient.

My understanding has always been that open and closed versions of the same headphone model have unique tunings, so it isn’t trivial to convert open to closed (or Vice versa)

I’ve been very happy with the Hart cable I got for my Aeon 2’s (with the multikit so I use it with 2.5mm with my Qudelix and 3.5mm with my JDS stack)

I haven’t heard that. The Aeons generally seem to be regarded as some of the most comfortable, even if you have issues with the sound.
