    KopiOkaya's guide to eartips

I have followed this Singapore guru's page for a year or so, and actually bought some tips to try out based on his reviews. My recent purchase were Dunu S&S eartips. It was a bit of gamble since I don't know how those would fit. Well I must say they gave my TWS (Nuarl N6 Pro2) the greatest...

    Multi-IEM Review - 352 IEMs compared (Pump Audio Earphones added 04/03/16 p. 1106)

Quote:   I have used the gold edition of FXT-90 for 4 months ... I would say the isolation is good enough for me.  I listen to songs at a medium volume and most of the time I can't hear external noise (when the music is on) - that is something when I walk in a crowded Hong Kong street :P

[REVIEW] HifiMan RE400 ‘Waterline’ – The New Reference

It would be nice if someone can compare the clarity of RE-400 and JVC FXT-90 :)

    JVC HA-FXT90 Thread

Had my gold FXT90 for more than 2 months now and I think the sound is getting better.  Sibilance in some songs has disappeared or lessened ... maybe just my imagination lol

    JVC HA-FXT90 Thread

I just use the original medium tips that come with my gold edition FXT90 and found the seal is already very good.  Maybe just my ears lol.

    Multi-IEM Review - 352 IEMs compared (Pump Audio Earphones added 04/03/16 p. 1106)

Quote:   Wish I could find a shop in Hong Kong which has EPH-100 for demo ... anyway, I would say I'm happy with the sound of FXT-90 for most of my tracks.  Thanks for the reply.

    Multi-IEM Review - 352 IEMs compared (Pump Audio Earphones added 04/03/16 p. 1106)

Quote: They are did recorded differently, but some do sound sibilant compared to my old Denon.  Maybe the JVC somehow exaggerate those tracks' sibilance?

    Multi-IEM Review - 352 IEMs compared (Pump Audio Earphones added 04/03/16 p. 1106)

Hi all,   I have owned my JVC-FXT90L2 for over a month now.  The SQ is better than all of my previous IEMs, however, I found that for some songs the vocals are sibilant while for others the vocals are not strong enough (compared to the instruments).  Should I have chosen EPH-100? :P

Philips Fidelio S1 and S2 - New IEMs with semi-closed back

How would S1/S2 compare to JVC HA-FXT90?  Anyone?

    JVC HA-FXT90 Thread

Maybe you can also try the Sony replacement tips, I had good experience with those.  But my stock FXT-90 tips work just fine.  I even tried the Denon tips from my Denon IEMs, those also work.

    JVC HA-FXT90 Thread

I'm on the bandwagon ... got the champagne-colored version for HK$950 (~ US$120) yesterday. Had to turn up the volume for my iPod Nano just a little (I was using Denon AH-560R). Initial impression is good but I think I have to give it a week of burn-in under normal usage :)

    TDK BA200 Thread

Thanks for the reply.  I did read Joker's review on FTX90 ... is it safe to say the comfort level of using FTX90 for long periods (say 4 hours on the streets) is better than the two TDKs?   P.S. Currently I'm using Denon AH-560R which is quite comfortable.  However I feel its sounds are too...

    TDK BA200 Thread

Hi all,   How does BA200 compare with JVC HA-FXT90?  I'm torn between these two (may also consider IE800), my brain is gonna burst lol ...

    JVC HA-FXT90L2 vs TDK BA200?

Hi all,   I'm considering upgrading from my current pair of Denon AH-C560R to something better, especially for the mids.  I have singled out 2 candidates - JVC HA-FXT90L2 and TDK BA200.  Anyone got an opinion on which of these are "better"?   Thanks!

    Reviews/opinions/thoughts on Klipsch Image S4A 2?

May I ask whether this earphones also work on a iPod Nano?  I got both a Samsung Galaxy S3 and an old iPod Nano which I also often use.   Thanks!
