I don't think it's my source, since I get the same flat feeling from my iPod Classic and all my files are definitely the best of quality. I probably just don't fit the sound of the AD900X when it comes to jpop/jrock too well.   I'll see about getting a decent DAC in the future.

I've just realized that when I use my FiiO E12, the sound channels are inverted. Left comes from the right and right from the left.   Does my unit have an issue or is this something about the E12?   AD900X > FiiO E12 > Xonar DGX

Could somebody help me here?   My FiiO E12 inverts the positioning of my audio, and I've no idea how to fix this.   Sound on the left channel come from the right and vice versa. Does not happen if I don't go through the amp.   AD900X > E12 > Xonar DGX.

EDIT:   Just realised it only happens going through my amp.   AD900X -> FiiO E12 -> Xonar DGX = inverted.   What causes this? It's totally inverted like sounds from the left comes from the right and vice versa.

The clamping is a bit hard and I feel like the headband isn't even there. If I move my head too much then my AD900X slides off my head. Do I just tie the two wings together?

I'm sort of starting to like it better -- I think.   Well, slower music is wonderful, the airiness is definitely something I really like about the sound. Although the sound stage is not as big as I had hoped, and the level of detail/separation isn't quite there, I think I still like it ... ...

I read it was really sensitive to wireless signals ... it was meant to sit somewhere practically next to my router/modem (wireless is on for my phone/tablet) ... is that gonna cause an issue?

Well, it doesn't matter if it's a burn-in, a brain-in, a freeze-in or whatever. As long as I like it after a while, I'll be happy.

I got my AD900X a few days ago. I'm sort of disappointed, but still have hope. Right now, it's sound /really/ congested. The high leaks over to the mid so much that I have trouble listening to vocals. I hope it'll fix itself  after a while. Also, not very comfy on my head.   My E12 is coming...

So I'm still waiting for my AD900X (delayed by a month) but I'm thinking of also getting a set of closed cans to compliment them. Was thinking A900X or HM5. Any suggestions?    Will be listening through my Xonar DGX while I consider getting a FiiO E12.
