Hm, I'm not gonna buy K?812 just because they have more bass and can play louder than Q701. I can get deaf in 15 min if i want to now with my Q701, and while a little more bass would be okay, I guess that's why they made K712... What I'm interrested in is some more 360' 3D sound. Better...

@ Nomax: Can you say something about the differences between Q701 and K812? I have both Q701 and K550 in my collection of headphones. AKG has so far the sound signature I like the most from the different headphones brands I have heard.

I really miss my Shure 940. They got broken after some op-amp testing... my fault thou... Got Shure 1840, Mad Dog, AKG 550 Soundmagic 100 and CAL. I'm considering strongly to buy them again. Female voices are pure magic on them in my view!

Well, first there were a big unbalance between L and R. To me it seems like the membranes was touching some part, so you got a very noticeable "scratch" sound. Super annoying!  The seller guaranteed me some new ones, so I have given him a 2'end chance. If the new pair also malfunction I will...

Finally got the Mad Dog today... They took their time to travel to Norway... But it was really worth waiting for them :) To early to comment too much about their quality's, but paired with my Project Sunrise ii and Hegel HD 11 DAC they sound amazing out of the box!

Jeremy is very communicative and a really nice person to deal with. I have soon had my premade Sunrise for a year. It works like a Swiss made clock. I'm curious about the new Ember amp they make. Another very good amp I can recommend is Custom Hifi Cables HA10SE. It's soundstage is even more...

I have put on some Shure pads on mine CAL's. The fitting is not perfect but the sound is extremely good for a headphone in this price range. The bass become much more natural, and that affects the mid's in a positive way. I have them properly amped thou, but I guess the improvement would be...

I have a HA10SE and DC2. I am extremely satisfied with this amplifier! I also have Project Sunrise 2 and Nuforce HAP-100.

Is it possible to get more impressions? Will it be possible to buy the new part from Nuforce or is just a prototype?

This is very interesting. I have HAP-100 but I might feel that it don't deliver its full potential with low ohm headphones. I prefer my Custom Hifi Cable amplifier HA10SE with DC2 over HAP-100. I will most likely buy Fostex TH-600 when released, so a mod for making HAP-100 better suited for low...
