    DT 770 PRO's for $100? Or alternatives?

What about the DT150's? They're supposed to be a straight upgrade from the DT770's and cost about the same.   Also, if build quality is a concern; they're built like a Panzer.   I'm considering buying a pair myself.

Questions about connecting a PC to stereo receiver > active sub > bookshelves.

Hi all, total beginner here.   I'm looking to upgrade my computer audio and I'm thinking I can get the best bang for my buck from buying a stereo receiver, an active sub, and a pair of bookshelf speakers (correct me if I'm wrong). I want a good 2.1 setup for games and music with a budget...

€200/250 to spend on new computer speakers/monitors

Hi, I'm looking for a new pair of speakers (2.0/2.1) for my computer; mainly for games and music (industrial, alt-rock). I've been looking into various models in my price range for about a week now and I don't think I'm any closer to making a descision.   I started off looking at regular...

    Repair HD497 or upgrade?

The cable on my HD497's packed in (got them on head-fi a while back, 3rd owner so they've had a good run) at the minijack end on the left earpiece. Apart from the clamping and slightly uncomfortable earpads I quite like them, quite inoffensive and a bit too laid back but decent enough I...

Did you consider the AGK K81DJ/K518 at all in your search? I quite like the look of them.

I don't understand the use of Ruthenium in the casing. What did they do, coat it in the stuff?

    HD-565, what are they worth?

Hi, Im watching a pair of HD-565's on ebay in what looks like very good condition with original documentation. Out of idle boredom I bid a dollar above the current bid, looks like the previous bidder probably did the same because now I'm the highest bidder! They're currently at €26 with an...

    Cheap In-Ear phones

The cord is REALLY short on those but the sound quality is acceptable. Get the MX400's if you don't care about inline volume control because thats the only difference between them.

So my earphones are broken, next!

My Sennheiser MX400's succumbed to a frayed cable today (the cable was too stiff in the cold weather, as with the last 5 pairs of earphones Ive owned), they are within warrantee but I threw the receipt away a year ago. My soldering skills are good so I might attempt a repair. What should I...
