LOL... that's the only and best way to look at it.   and now i'm spilled with choice. Westone gave me a discount of 15% on any new iems from them... very tempting since i had no further problems with the sound of the um2. On the other hand the Westone UM2 are the only serious iems i ever...

Had a conversation with people of Westone this afternoon and they were quite certain that the click was not the cause. I just have bad luck with a low frequency driver giving up on me.   Yaay... time to buy some new iems  :-s

This is what i do and experience except my screen stays black. Actually i can start rb from the selection screen as well, but driving blind.     When i power off i don't hold the top left that long but still hearing and seeing the device powering off. I will try pushing the button longer...

i did set the idle power off, 10 minutes i believe. I will reduce this and give it a go. I don't know if my device behaves differently from other dx50. I searched the thread and others but found no similarities, and it only has this behaviour when using RB. 

I think you misunderstood me: in my initial writings i explained the situation from a turned off device. When i want to turn it on, i push the on-button and then see no startup logo. Instead i see a faint glow of the whole screen, nothing more. Then i have to do a cold boot to get the device...
