XONAR ESSENCE ST and PCI-E 2.0 compatibility
PCI and PCIe are completely different and incompatible sockets. The ST will only work in a PCI socket, and the STX will only work in a PCIe socket. So, if your computer only has PCIe sockets, you need an STX.- Whacka
