    Tidal Lossless Streaming

They stream in 320 for premium users and don't use P2P any more. Sources:   p2p program was shut down: http://techcrunch.com/2014/04/17/spotify-removes-peer-to-peer-technology-from-its-desktop-client/

    Tidal Lossless Streaming

It's a hard thing to track because I use subscription services differently than CD's. I explore tons of related content to discover new artists, but only listen through new songs a few times. I don't need tidal for this, as I can't think of any times where I decided to like a track after...

    Tidal Lossless Streaming

I finally decided to drop my subscription. I just couldn't rationalize spending $20 a month for the subtle differences of lossless for the rare occasion that I'm listening that closely. I think I'll just by the CDs. When canceling, they gave a survey which I gave the normal rundown, but had a...

Where can I buy Westone W40s under 499 with Warranty?

A few threads dated last year mentioned success that when calling Westone, they provided a discount on the W40s down to $350 or $365. I tried this late to the game with no luck. Are there other options or vendors you know of that might carry these marked down?

    CIEM recommendation? Previous experiences with IE8, UE900s, SE535, W4Rs, IE80s, ACS Sleeves

I've started a fund to set aside a fund for up to $1500 for my next pair that will be CIEMs. It has been a long journey reading through tons of Head Fi pages and trying many sets of universal fit IEMs.    Here's my personal experience with the following universal fit IEMs (and some custom...

Wearing Sennheiser IE8 Upside down = better isolation + fit!

Quote:   Just got some IE80s, yes I can confirm it is MUCH better for me to wear them cables down. I don't have to switch ears or cables though.

    Sennheiser IE80's Impressions Thread

Call me crazy, but when I wear these with the cables straight down instead of over ear, I get a much better seal.   I think my outer ear is just a bit to shallow for the bulk of the iem.   Do the ie8's have seal problems like these? I never had this issue with any of my cheapo sony's.

Tips for deeper insertion/ tighter seal for Sennheiser IE80

Quote:   I read far and wide and decided to try the meelec tips as well. After trying three or four different options out of the $10 pack, I finally have the perfect seal for this set!   FWIW the small-medium bi-flange tips are the ones that work the best for my ears. The silicon...

I'm having this problem now. I guess I read so much more than I contribute... I'll work on that.   Aside, I am a web engineer, and it is only a few hours of work to implement something like recaptcha to make the spam bots go away. Would you like some help?   Preventing users from...

How to wear split headband headphones?

I just picked up the Sennheiser HD25-1 II set, which have a split headband... apparently it "adds comfort."   Do you put both on top? One behind/one in front of the cowlick? One way back?   Or is it just whatever you fee like?

    Klipsch image x10 Review

I know this thread is old, but Amazon has these down to $90 right now, so I picked up a pair.   Thanks for mentioning the bass increase using double flanges. I'm a bit of a bass-head and was a little disappointed until I used the double tips. It literally feels inside my head -- CRAZY.
