I have quite a number of MCQ micro SD and they sound very good on AK380. I didn't directly compare them to the K2HD CDs though. The Korean Woong San album is particularly exceptional.

Minor difference, but to me personally, 1.24 and 1.25 are obviously better than all of the earlier firmware versions.   I was using AK380+Hugo before 1.24, have not used much of Hugo since 1.24. I now find AK380 alone better than AK380+Hugo. At least with JHA Layla and Fitear 334.

I personally like the SQ of AK380 since 1.24, and 1.25 is also very good. Probably not the consensus here.

No issue with Micro SD card and don't use AFT, use Windows instead. I always transfer multiple folders without any problem.

Even on old analog recording, the difference between 24/96 and 16/44.1 is obvious to me. One of the easiest is to compare the bluray and the CD of the latest Beatles one plus. They are all from the same remaster, and you should hear the difference if you gave a decent system.

Personally, I can't tell the difference between fw 1.17 and 1.18.
