Drugs and Studying do NOT Mix.

Personally I bought the a900's, did the blue tack mod and didn't really enjoy the sound. So I bought some senn 580's and now the a900's are collecting dust on my shelf.

I was in the exact same position as you, and I chose a marantz sr4500, paradigm mini monitors and a dayton 10 in sub. I couldnt be happier.

wow a lot of replies. Anyhoo, so really all you do then is open them up, and coat the driver in blu-tak? If this is how you do it, then how thick should the layer be?

Does any one have pictures of the Blu-tack Mod for the a900's? Looked all over head-fi and couldn't find one. And yes, I did see the thread by tyson, but no pics were up. Thanks

I bought mine form audio cubes for 210 shipped. The clamp is strong i guess, ive tried the hd 280s and the clamp on that monster was a lot stronger. In terms of noise attenuation, when on with no music, you can hear people talk, its just muffled. However, if you like listening to your headphones...

Hi, I am new guy here recently introduced into the world of Head-fi as I just bought my a900's a week ago. Anyways, while I like these headphones, I realized I dont really need a closed phone as much as I thought. So, I'm thinking about selling these (Damn you Head-fi! ) and getting something...
