When I compared the wireless and cable version, I found the wireless bass more stronger to my ears. Also, the volume seemed to go higher on the wireless when used with an iPhone. Very happy with my P7W. Worth checking out the Audio-Technica ATH-M50X Studio Monitor if they still exist.
