Thanks, What if the right side still hisses after you change cable positions and not the left side? I tried it with AK100 and X3/JDS Lab C5 amp. I did not hear any hiss but it's only for a short period of time. I also have to see a doctor just in case the problem are my ears itself lol.

okay after a long listening session.. i found out that the hiss is on the earpiece L as you instructed (a little faint compared with the original cable position). I also recalled my old Sennheiser HD439 hissing on the right side as well using this DAP

usb dac works perfect! now testing the gapless playback in "browse files" mode

  fiio x3 and HD 439 hehe (biased opinion)     ok isolation nya. kaso leaky because of the pads, kaya requirements mo esp. instrumental (strings are really nice with these cans)     try mo demo with spanish fly - van halen     as for the fiio x3. you should upgrade to lossless files...
