the odo is quite nice, been using it with the Zen SL and SMG of late. really compliments their inherit natures. gives a slight bump in the bass as well ef400 might be abit too transparent for VE, needs abit more colour. you could try to get your hands on a lake people G103/G103-s MKII AMP...- reaperzero

not all phones output enough to power the prime dac. if it flickers it just means its not supplying enough power. my poco f1 and f4 are able to power it, but my sony xperia xz3 is unable to- reaperzero

Monk Omega Pro has identical drivers to the MPV, but theres some differences with the tuning. Master is more an in between kinda sound. works well for almost any genre, Asura 3.0fe is more suitable for vocals and string instruments, granted it is more expensive then the master.- reaperzero

zen su, definitely worth a buy if you want more outta the sun copper. alternatively if you want a sun like experience but with super tall headroom the Grand Duke is also a good contender but they are iem's though- reaperzero

yeah the mx500 shells can be a hit or miss for some. if you want something better fitting you might wanna try the ZEN LL but those cost abit more and are around 150ohms if i am not mistaken. can sound abit boomy if under powered if you manage to find some Monk Lite 40 / 120 ohms you could try...- reaperzero

if im not mistaken theres thick and thin foams. you will need to check. the difference is rather minor between the thick ones and thin ones the foams affect bass as it will create a more complete seal around your ear cavity and finally yea doughnuts should have the least affect on the sound...- reaperzero

thats kinda subjective. and also depends on your music taste, best to look at your budget. if you want a simple bud that can run on anything get the V2S or the soon to be released Monk A1, V2S is an all rounder, while A1 excels at gaming and vocals.- reaperzero

i do lol. there are two versions though. MOE is using the Monk Plus drivers from the 3rd and 4th gen i think. its more for those who wanna roll cables. the black litz cables are nice but its super noisy due to how tense the cable is, causing microphonics. MOPE is more laid back with the same...- reaperzero

Asura 3.0FE to me is more technical, but its also more mid focused. Its an upgraded Monk SM, but without the borderline sibilance at higher listening volumes. MPV to me is basically a superior version of the monk plus but it does come at the cost of less bass. But being 32 ohms its super easy...- reaperzero

Monk Go is basically neutral, if you can find the special Monk Go SPC it would be closer to flat neutral, MOPE is more coloured, touch more warmth and bass. and the V2S is abit more mic centric, MPV is the Monk Plus with way more clarity and being 32 ohms super easy to drive Also not sure when...- reaperzero

of the MOPE and V2S, i think V2S would probably be the best choice of what's available right now. if you were abit earlier the Monk GO would probably be a better fit for you. also, if you want more details try their taobao store front and a phone with google translate set to camera mode. but...- reaperzero
