Comfortable open over-ear headphones under $150

Any other headphones to look into? So far I'm leaning towards the Sennheiser HD558's.

Comfortable open over-ear headphones under $150

I'm looking to buy comfortable open over ear headphones under $150. I will mainly be using these for long hours of gaming and listening to various types of music. My main concern is comfort, I currently own ath m50's and can't wear them for more than 20 minutes. My source is a fiio E10 plugged...

    Inexpensive Comfortable Headphones

I stretched them for over a year now and I still can't wear them for more than 10 minutes without getting irritated, I really don't know how people can wear them for long hours. I've never heard of those Citiscapes being comfortable, I'm thinking about just spending more $ to get sennheiser or...

    Inexpensive Comfortable Headphones

My only concern is comfort really, it doesn't need to be better or worse than the M50. Looking at the UE6000's they look like they use pleather or something, doesn't that mean they will make me sweat just like the m50's do? Also, I don't want to have to modify any headphones so buying a pair and...

    Inexpensive Comfortable Headphones

I currently own ATHM50's with velour pads but they don't seem right, the pads slide off and the quality of sound isn't there compared to the stock pads. That being said I'm looking for a new pair of headphones that are comfortable right out of the box and require no headphone amp to power them...

Would you guys recommend the 2050's over DT 880 premium 250's?

    DT-770 Pro 80hms crappy bass

I returned my 770's for having too much bass, anymore will ruin the sound in my opinion.

    mdr-v6 or mdr-1r?

I'm also interested in knowing how much better the 1r's are to the v6.

USB audio interface for AKG K 701/2

I'm also looking for a similar solution just really bad when it comes to this. I have an Mbox 2 which couldn't even drive my DT 770 pro 80's so now that I'm going order my 880's soon I'm going to need a new interface probably. I have a FiiO E10 but I have to run it as a separate driver in order...

    Cheap Headphones vs Expensive

Quote: For me it's not about complimenting a higher end pair of headphones since I don't have any but the HTF600's, M50's, and DT770 pro 80's (just returned these). Of course it would be much easier if I had a store that allowed me to audition certain cans so it leaves me with no choice but...

    Cheap Headphones vs Expensive

Quote: I'm happy you say that because I really don't want to waste my money. I'm already set on the DT880's (waiting for the price to fluctuate) but I'm still left wondering what I might missing out on.

    Cheap Headphones vs Expensive

Quote: It's kind of late for that I had already bought 5 headphones and I'm still curious after reading these forums so much.   Some headphones I'm interested in trying: Sony MDR-V6, CAL!, Koss DJ100pro, Phillips Uptowns, Sony MDR-1R, and I'm sure there's many more to list.

    Cheap Headphones vs Expensive

Well as I wait for the prices for the DT880 premium 250 to go back down in price I keep stumbling upon cheaper headphone recommendations and I keep wondering how good they actually are vs the mid/high-fi cans. The problem is even when I do eventually buy my 880's I will still end up buying some...

    audio-technica ath-m50 or denon ah-d1100

In my opinion DT 770 pro 80's would probably be what your looking for, they have stronger bass than the m50's. You'll need a cheap amp to drive though.
