It's totally okay. I talked to somebody high up in Audeze too, He gave me info on both units. I know more about the a little more w out the "Z" project for now. Not important for now, no exact release date. Won't discuss the entire conversation, not important at this time.

No....I would get the color you want and have somebody re-install a silver dragon, etc.,..the cable quality will determine the sound...k550 line takes 100 hrs. burn in to get the best results...mix different sounds with eq'd bass and wait 2 minutes every three songs at medium to loud volume...

Noticed if I "burn in" my 550 with equalizer using bass booster, it really kicks in the variomotion drivers. Bass is now fantastic without an amp!
