Unique Melody Miracle downgrade (!)
My reference IEM is the Unique Melody Miracle. I love its neutrality, its superb soundstage, the clarity of its sound and perfect representation of the highs, mids and lows. BUT... because of its not inconsiderable cost I listen to them safely at home. When I am out and about I prefer to use...- NineToTheSky

How do I search for...
I'm amazed that I can't do this, but I am trying to find the Westone UM Pro 50 thread. I have searched, but what I get is plenty of 'for sale' posts, UM Pro 50 vs ..., a generic UM Pro thread, but not what I am looking for. It must be there somewhere..- NineToTheSky

Pleas tell me how to remove my custom IEMs
I have recently bought the Unique Melody Miracle - and I absolutely love them! I can insert them easily, and they are very comfortable when in, but I am having problems getting them out. I have followed the instructions, but the only way I can get them out is by the one thing that I clearly...- NineToTheSky

Another boring thread about deciding what to buy and how I'm suffering
Mrs Nine isn't in anyway interested in IEMs, so you lot will have to suffer while I ramble on... I bought my Shure e500s two and a half years ago, cable split a few weeks ago, bought the Sennheiser IE8s, snapped off the earpiece trying to fit a Comply, so I'm back in the market. The...- NineToTheSky

What actually is burn in?
I apologise if this has been asked and answered before; I've searched but have been overwhelmed by the number of posts. I haven't found any that directly answer this. I don't understand what burn in is. IEMs are made out of physical materials. Surely those materials don't change over time...- NineToTheSky

Shure e500 broken and Shure doesn't do repairs
I bought Shure e500 in July 2007, so they're out of their two year warranty. Last week the plastic sleeve broke, exposing the wiring underneath. The wiring seems to be intact, but I'm obviously worried that they will get damaged sooner or later. I phoned Shure UK who told me that they are...- NineToTheSky

Wow! I'm blown away with the Shue e4s!
After reading here for a while, I decided to get the Shure e4s, and I thought I'd let you know my views on them, because I'm so impressed that I just can't keep it to myself! I'm no audiophile, but I love listening to music. I have a Zen Xtra 60gb, and started off with the supplied earphones...- NineToTheSky
