I have the PX200 and the older PX100. I like the PX100 a little better, but point taken. What is out there now that is as good as these classics in terms of SQ, price, and portability?

What’s the latest on this idea? Just got the Massdrop Bravo Ocean and the sound is too “warm”. Any ideas on pushing the mids a little more or making it flatter in general?

I’ve heard that’s a good move. I have the SR60s too. One day I’d like to move up to a metal or wood cup config. Not sure the 125 will be that big of an upgrade.

Has anyone tried these Alcantara pads for HD25? Do they affect the sound signature?

Back to earpads, anyone have experience with sheepskin custom pads for their Grados? The one L-pads I got from Amazon aren’t too comfortable. I have some NAD VISO HD50’s that are super comfy but closed back. I want that cushiness on my open back Grados.

How are the G cushions different? Do they not fit or just not improve the sound?

I, for one, like it that some are focused on a single brand to give us some comparisons in the lines. But I also have a variety of brands and models to use for different occasions and different kinds of music. BTW, I just upgraded my SR60’s by adding L-cushions. First trial run tells me that...

Thanks, but I mean I’m on a limited budget. Is it worth it to move up from the SR60 to the SR325 or even to the RS1? I’ve read that they all sound similar, especially with the right ear pads.

So, is there a “sweet spot” in the Grado line between the SR60 and the PS2000?

I referenced my iem’s but I also have the Sony 1000MkII phones. I tested them and the infamous Bose. Best Buy had the Senn’s but they weren’t charged so I couldn’t test the noise canceling. The Sony’s won for comfort and features. I couldn’t hear a big difference in my preferred sound...

Speaker questions might be a little off topic in a headphone forum. But personally I use Yamaha book shelf speakers with a little Lepai amp when I'm not listening to the HP50's. JJ

I tried the Brainwavz velour pads. They are a little more comfortable, but the sound seems better to me with the stock pads. Still searching for a quality cable (TRRS to TRS).

Getting mine today. I purchased some Brainwavz velour replacement pads because I don't like the feel of the pleather. What are the dimensions of the foam pieces youre using? I'm expecting the velour pads to lose some seal and the foam inserts might improve that. JJ
