So the AWG values don't really matter, just pick a length and go for it as far as these monoprice replacement power cables go?- Ankaret

Crack;Bottlehead OTL
The laying flat rather than right out of the top would be nice. Will this work for the crack without any trouble?: http://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=7676 Does the AWG # matter for matching the right one to the crack?- Ankaret

Crack;Bottlehead OTL
Hi Crack owners. Are there any good alternatives to swapping out the stock power cable, besides the direct upgrade from Bottlehead for their nice power cable kit? And what do you think about the Bottlehead power cable upgrade for crack vs. the original vs. any alternatives that might be out...- Ankaret

RS-1 Appreciation Thread starts here!!!!
I hope this isn't considered spam, but I have an excellent pair of RS1's for sale in the For Sale section of the forum right now. Sad to be selling them and I will get another pair for sure in the future if funds allow it. I will be missing the Grado sound until then. ...- Ankaret

Sennheiser HD650 & Massdrop HD6XX Impressions Thread
After about 100+ hours of break in on my new pair of 650's, Im enjoying Jacaszcek's "Glimmer" on these fantastic headphones. Loving it. iPod 5th generation --> Little Dot Mk I+ --> HD650. Would love to hear these with a more powerful tube amp like the MKIII. What kind of amps are you guys...- Ankaret

Having (and using?) more than one pair of nice cans
It's also a bit of a pain if each headphone calls for very different amplifiers...or do you guys try to get an amp that will be good at powering all of your headphones?- Ankaret

Book-Fi
Im also a fan of the real physical book still. For school, especially expensive and heavy textbooks I will do on my iPad. But other than that, I recently found for example a 2 book vintage version of Proust's entire In Search of Lost Time (7 books) for $15. It's the original Montcrieff...- Ankaret

Guitar-fi anyone?
Classical: Ramirez 2NE Electric: Fender butterscotch thin skin 52 RI, US Made Fender Blues Jr. Tweed (dark and buzzy), Roland Space Echo, Maxon vintage analog delay. Also borrowing my buddy's amazing guitar while he is in Vietnam. It's an old Guild M30 from the 60s. Sort of like a slightly...- Ankaret

Whisky (or Whiskey) Fi
Bulleit is my every day, and lately been really impressed with Woodford Reserve. Im enjoying it, especially in old fashioneds. Anyone tried Leopold's Apple Whiskey? Nowhere near a "real" whiskey, but so damn delicious nonetheless.- Ankaret

Bicycle-Fi!
The weather in Seattle has been clearing up lately and finally got my bike out to ride around with friends and drink beer. Forgot how much fun it is. Something about getting back on a bike and riding for fun makes me feel like a young kid again. Got so drunk I fell off riding home last night...- Ankaret

Having (and using?) more than one pair of nice cans
Just in general wondering how many of you have more than one pair, and how you go about using each? Ive recently bought another nice pair of headphones and debating whether to just sell the one I enjoy least to keep just one go to setup or keep both. THE DIY HEADPHONE STAND THREAD
Another very happy owner of Hieutrung's fine work. You wouldn't want to see how this would've looked if I had DIY'd it! Instead, his beautiful mahogany stand seems like the perfect fit. Works fantastic, looks clean, minimal, amazing, and I was immediately impressed by the handcrafted quality...- Ankaret

2 Qs regarding iPod video 30GB (a.k.a 5th gen)
Ok, I will take a gamble on a cheaper battery and see what happens. Mine is so bad (original) that it would be hard pressed to do worse if I can get it installed myself. What would be the most logical upgrade from my current player that would give me a considerable improvement of sound...- Ankaret

2 Qs regarding iPod video 30GB (a.k.a 5th gen)
So I have this old faithful portable player that I bought when these first came out many years ago, and it still works great save for the short battery life. I have just bought myself a Little Dot I+ to compliment my Grado RS1s, and would like to mostly run a portable source like the iPod for...- Ankaret
