I can guarantee for IE800s the volume is not even close to enough ; that being said i use it with my Sony ZX1 and it is much ; much better than pioneer... To be honest im starting to loose my faith in this DAP...

I also am checkin day and night if there is anyone among us that can reach a rep should ask about it as im really fedup with this sound limitation everytime i hook up my ie800 i hate the player more and more

Actually in first pages of 5his thread you can find people saying that. Im really pissed because spending a 1000$ on ie800s and another 600 on zx1 i still dont have a good sounding and really portable solution. im really considering getting sommething easier to drive and live with it
