    Allll righty than.  I have the ATH-M50s.  I have to say, they are OK, but not to my liking.  In my ears, the PortaPros sound better.  Clear and smooth.

    Yes, I got ahead of myself and purchased the amp before the phones.  I am new, I have to make mistakes.   Anyways, any ideas?  I want something fairly flat.  Maybe favoring to the lows. I do like porta pros but they are maybe a little bassy.     Ron
