Jeez guys, I looked at the MH1C when the hype started, and now that I'm buying things on amazon I decided to check them out and they increased by $10. Hype train in action. I might just wait until hype has moved on and get them then.

After reading this thread completely (what a timesink lol) I've decided for someone like me, it's probably best to just get a pair of the current flavor, and then not come back to the thread until after those break. I wouldn't be able to use nearly all of these if I had bought them all.

Thanks. I was just sort of curious. I guess back on topic, I actually gave the first pair I had away to a friend who didn't have any sort of IEM or headphones at all. He's certainly enjoying them.

I am literally 25 pages in and I can already tell this is going to end up being a large drain on my wallet.

I'm just posting to say I got a pair of these, and they certainly beat all the crappy sub $50 IEMs that consist of my previous IEM experience. I haven't even burned them in yet. As a non-audiophile, they certainly sound fine to me.

I have a feeling I am going to be spending quite some time just looking through this thread. So much stuff to see.

I certainly hope I'll get the monitor 10's. I had bid on them just because they looked cool, but when I looked into them and saw all the head-fi love I decided I wanted them even more. Not much of an audiophile, but I can tell decent from really bad.

I might actually pick those up if my bid on the Monitor 10's up on eBay doesn't work out. It probably won't, considering how I won't even be home for the close of it. Oh well.

I just picked up a pair for $20 on ebay, haven't gotten it yet to hear quality. I know this is incredibly late and you probably have forgotten about this but I thought you would like to know.
