So, should I get the Audio-Technica ATH-A900s?
yea, I meant POSSIBLE sound degration, sorry. I meant that if there WAS a difference in sound (and the ATs being worse in sound) if the Grados were that much better? So it looks like it will be good idea to go ahead and get those ATs. Also, you mentioned trying them out. I don't know...- RazorsEdge

So, should I get the Audio-Technica ATH-A900s?
well I know that, that is why I'm looking at getting closed phones. My specific question is wether or not the sound degradation of the ATs is so much worse that I should just go ahead and get the Grados.- RazorsEdge

So, should I get the Audio-Technica ATH-A900s?
Well I still am having doubts about what kind of 'phone to buy. I think I'd rather have sealed than open but how do the Audio-Technica ATH-A900 compare to some of the Grados? I'd go open if I have to but I'd rather have the leakage be at a minimal. What do you guys think about the...- RazorsEdge

Senheiser vs. Sony
I think I like Rizumu's theory alot. I have a pair of Sony Nudes that isolate fairly well and don't leak much. So I can just use those on the road, or who knows, maybe I will one day spurge and get a pair of Etymotics. So now is the next question. Should I got for the Senheiser 590s or the...- RazorsEdge

Senheiser vs. Sony
So I should probably stay away from the Senheisers if I am looking for good rock headphones. So maybe I should look into the Grados even though they leak alot of sound. Its a shame though, I hate it when my parents have their music going in the car and I have to turn my music way up just to...- RazorsEdge

Senheiser vs. Sony
Wow this is a really tough decision. I can find senheisers at Ebay but not the Audio-Ts. I would like it to kinda sealed so when I'm listening in the car I don't bother others. In my home, however, sealed or unsealed doesn't make a difference. Man, this is tough. Originally, like months ago...- RazorsEdge

Senheiser vs. Sony
How long are the cords for the Sens, the Eggos? The External unit on the Audigy sits right next to my monitor but it would be nice to lay down on my bed to watch a movie. BTW I really appreciate the lightning-quick response I am getting to this post.- RazorsEdge

Senheiser vs. Sony

Senheiser vs. Sony
It has been a long time since I have been on this board. Now that my mom just got married and there are 3 more additions to my home, I am forced to keep my computer speakers off most of the time. I have noticed that the Sony Eggos D66 have become popular and realtively inexpensive. I was...- RazorsEdge

Where can I get replacement foamies for MDR-EX70LP?
I was just wondering who, if anyone sells the replacement foamies for the MDR-EX70LP ear buds. I accidently dropped the open bag of them in my garage and now cannot seem to locate any but the ones on the headphones. Anyone have any ideas?- RazorsEdge

Low-End In-Ear Phones question
The main reason I want osund islotaion is actually more of a concern for noise leakage. My school will let us listen to portables after we finish taking our finals considering no one can hear the music. My current ones have little or no sound leakage at all. Am I really better off just...- RazorsEdge

Low-End In-Ear Phones question
Well, I have basically lowered my standards. After christmas wiped me clean I think I'm going to stick with a sub $100 pair of phones for now. i was going to get the Etymotic 4P but decided against it. Anyways, on to my question. I currently use the RadioShack in-ear canal headphones (I think...- RazorsEdge

Another iPod/NJB3/Zen thread
JB3 replacement batteries Williamgoody, Sorry about my misinformation. I've only spent about an hour playing around with an I-Pod and the songs were pre-loaded so that could have been the problem. As far as sound goes, its hard to explain. I brought in my headphones to try it out and I just...- RazorsEdge

Another iPod/NJB3/Zen thread
Well I highly disagree with the statement that the JB3 has long battery life. I get 10 hours tops with it. Now, granted it has an expansion bay for a second battery but that is something else you have to purchase. The sound quality is top-notch. We have an I-Pod on display at my place of...- RazorsEdge

Better sound through Jukebox 3 with USB than FireWire, what gives?
This is just a general understanding of situation question. When using the Jukebox 3 via uploading with firewire (using the Creative Audigy Card) I was getting blips and hiccups in nearly every song. So just for kicks and giggles I used the USB cable a viola, worked perfectly, not a single...- RazorsEdge

The nice thing about the Jukebox 3 is it has 2 batter bays. One battery lasts about 12 hours (4 hour charge) and two will last 22 (8 hour charge)- RazorsEdge

Software question to anyone who uses a Jukebox 3
I bought a Nomad Jukebox 3 about a week ago and only have one gripe about it. Can you use winamp (M3U) playlists in the Jukebox or not. If you select import and have supported media open, playlists are avaliable but if I click on mine nothing happens. What gives? Thanks, RazorsEdge- RazorsEdge

Most people generally say the Jukebox 3 has the best sound quality. The size is bigger, but to me thats not an issue. BTw the smallest Jukebox 3 you can buy is 20gigs and also has a 40gig model.- RazorsEdge

Etys, ER-4P or ER-6?
First of all I want to express my apologies in that i am sure this gets asked all of the time. I did a search on this board and did not come up with the results I was looking for. I am recently getting into the world of high-quality audio. The recent purchase of a Nomad Jukebox 3 has left me...- RazorsEdge
