Personally i do not know the correct details of this or if its possible to have a dac amp balanced with only 1 dac amp. What i know is the onkyo dp x1a got 2 dacs and 2 amp, 1 of each for each channel independantly. And with this i enjoy a 4 pole balanced 2.5mm cable i get tremedously deeper...
