I am getting a 404 on the rules page,

My personal opinion side with ear adjustment. If I "Burn In" a headphone in a sealed box for hundreds of hours I get no improvement, but if I listen, for a few months my brain adjusts to the new sound signature and the alien way my favourite songs sounded when the headphone were new disappears...

Does anything on youtube have better quality audio or have they designed it mainly for HD low(as possible) bandwidth video streams

My go to office use is a Momentum 2.0 Wireless, just a warning tho, the noise cancellation is not too aggressive but also can't be turned off unless you switch to passive wired mode.

Honestly, I would use a plasti dip type spray, a hammer finish will defiantly crack at the first bend as they are very brittle. You wont get a hammered finish but car body shops sell this type of pain in all sorts of cool colours.

Are these as hard to drive as the HD800?
