That's probably because the x3ii had extra icons that you'll have to delete, can't remember what they are exactly but they are like on off icons,I'll do some more looking tomorrow going to bed now.

 I was able to find a work around to install original firmware by plugging the X1 into usb the use the reset hole then it went to the usb link to computer screen and was able to power it down to install the 1.5 fw

Help Iinstalled a custom firmware I made based on TOASTuh's ELIX1ER V2,0 theme all I did was change the boot up and down animation and edited the circle in the launcher folder now it boots up but gets stuck on the end of the boot animation tried reset button and plugging it into the usb port on...

Just a heads up make sure your paths match eg. If the clip is in D:/ make sure the rockbox loader is set for D:/ it was something I overlooked when I did it the first couple of times
