    I, too, thought it was due to wireless connection, so I connected it wired. Instead of getting better, it got worse unfortunately, showing an update only once in all the times I tried and getting stuck at 40%, not even erroring out :-/.

    +1 on seeking confirmation on at least this one. For me (and for, I imagine, a few other folk), a 2Go/2Yu combo would serve in a desktop rack. To have the batteries wear out prematurely in that scenario would be a bummer.

    Absolutely. If you read the next few posts I made, I observed the same thing. The Audiophilleo USB-SPDIF converter made a huge difference. Basically saying that the D2's USB input isn't the pinnacle of async USB design, albeit really good.
