hd595 isolation question
Well, as long as you listen with some volume, the music will probably over power anything else thats not too loud. Other than that, there isnt much isolation.- yevocdivad

HD595 padding modification?
I just got a pair of HD595s and they sound wonderfull but my ears stick out into the cups and hit the rather hard plastic grill, which after a little while can become quite uncomfortable. I tried sticking some thin foam pads from some older broken headphones in there which made them feel better...- yevocdivad

I was right about to order some hd595s (http://www.compuplus.com/i-Sennheise...r-froogle.html) and i noticed some people refering to a 50 ohm version of the 595. Is there more than one, and is there any way to tell which ones you are ordering?- yevocdivad

Well my personal opinion is that you dont need high end headphones for gaming at all, but if you plan on using them for music too thats another story.- yevocdivad

Hifi noob questions!
How much of a difference can you here with a 595 or a 650 when its amped vs driven right out of a computer sound card? Also, I could afford either a 595 with an amp, or a 650 without one; would it be safe to assume that the 595 with an amp would sound better than the 650 witout one? Thanks- yevocdivad
