You my friend, are not the only one! They still touch my ears and I feel some amount of discomfort, but it is a lot more comfortable than the stock pads.

Just got my XL pads and they're extremely comfortable :). The sound has changed, but I'm not sure how to describe the change. The only disappointment is that the XL pads didn't come in a box :( missing out on that great feeling of opening the box to something brand new and awesome ....

I notice that they have really flimsy feeling wires especially around the metal housing itself. Is it hard to break or should I baby these?

I just bought these yesterday and I have a question.. Is it bad that they magnetize each other? I've never had IEMs that did this before.

What would be a good 5.1 or 7.1 to pair with that receiver?

He's okay with 5.1, but he really doesn't want to deal with the wires, which is the only real reason for going wireless. Also like I said, he doesn't care too much about the sound

My friend's girlfriend is looking to buy my friend some surround sound speakers for his birthday. Knowing about head-fi I told her that I would ask you guys for some help! I'm not sure if this is even possible since I don't know anything about 7.1 speakers. FYI they don't need "audiophile...

The Charmin Ultra mod changes the bass quite noticeably.
