Why are you so obsessed with getting down the 3 Hz?  You're aware that the human hearing range usually starts in the 20 Hz range, right?  And that most dubstep "bass" is actually mid-bass, right?

I'd say a little bit of both. They were definitely fairly filthy, bit I didn't care for the clunky design and the headband felt like a cheap $15 headphone.
